Online events and talks for the physics community
Following social distancing restrictions introduced in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are hosting a programme of online events and talks for the physics community, organised by our Special Interest Groups and National and Branch Committees.
Doing events differently
Since the decision was made to postpone IOP’s physical events until the end of September, we have developed with our members a series of online events, talks and conferences to ensure the physics community are still able to engage with high-quality and stimulating content. The programme is organised by the IOP’s Special Interest Groups and National and Branch committees, covering a wide range of fascinating and thought-provoking topics.
Our online programme of events and talks continues to expand, with more sessions added to the listings all the time. Topics have included super-resolution microscopy, electrostatics in healthcare, magnetism, dark matter and direct electron detection.
We will be announcing events here on our COVID-19 members’ hub, via our member e-newsletter and on social media.
These sessions are for the whole physics community - you do not need to be a member to participate - so do let colleagues know about them
Find out more and register for events – new listings continue to be added, so please do keep checking back.
